It seems we are living in unique times. Henderson Web Design takes the spread of Coronavirus in the UK extremely seriously. The effects of the coronavirus pandemic are impacting everyone. As the situation continues to affect us, we wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re supporting our employees,our clients and our partners.

Supporting Our Employees

It is imperative that we take care of our people. We’ve taken actions to reduce the need for our team to come into our offices by putting in place home working provisions should it become necessary.

We have ensured full provisioning for the cleaning of individual work areas which is being conducted on a daily basis. We are stringent around hygiene and cleaning regimes, including thorough, frequent hand washing.

Supporting Our Clients

We understand that for many of our clients your website or web based services are imperative to the smooth running of your businesses. Please rest assured that it is business as usual.

With the possibility of home working and self isolation being a likely possibility, we have ensured that our systems in place are robust and effective so our team can continue to support our clients, seamlessly.

At least one member of the team will always be in the office, as certain tasks can only be completed onsite - like those who need to access the most sensitive content for customer safety and security.

Visitors to our Office

To protect our team members we will no longer be accepting visitors to our offices other than those simply making deliveries/collections. Meetings with clients or suppliers will be conducted online or via the telephone if possible for the time being.

We are looking into a new solution for video meetings/conferencing so that we can continue ‘Business as usual’.

We understand that, for many customers, this time has meant even more disruption to their businesses, with extreme swings in customer demand and stress on certain channels. That’s why we have a robust plan in place to ensure that we can be there to support you and assist you in any way we can.

A moment like this is a reminder about how we all need to band together to overcome these unique challenges and complexities. Our team is here for you, and we’ll continue to keep you updated and informed.

Q: What is HWD doing to monitor the situation?

A: We are staying well informed of the developing situation, following the advice and recommendations from the Government and Public Health England.

Q: How is customer support being handled where employees aren't working from the office?

A: Simply email support@hendersonwebdesign.com or call 01752 263051 as normal, your request or support issue will be added to our Support tracking system, allocated to a team member and resolved as quickly as possible, you will be informed once an issue is resolved.

Q: Will there be delays in services or support resolutions?

A: At this point, we do not expect any significant delays. We're confident that our systems and procedures can continue to support our clients during this time.

Q: Should we expect any disruptions, downtime?

A: No, at this stage, we do not expect any direct user-facing impact as a result of our response to the situation. We are liaising closely with our Service Partners regarding web hosting and do not see there being any issues at all.

Q: Do you have a provision for Telephone conferencing and meetings?

A: There are several options that we are exploring, we will post more here as soon as possible.
