Management & Support

Management & support

Website backups, module & system updates, bug fixing, website care & maintenance

To put it simply, our job isn’t over once we’ve built your website or back-end system! We are with you for as long as you need us, providing the support, security and maintenance that all modern, web based solutions require.

We offer tailored website management & support agreements to many of our clients who are simply too busy running their businesses to get involved with website updates.  Equally, as technology changes, updates to the code are required and we can take care of this as well.  What your individual agreement covers entirely depends upon the type of website you have and the number of changes or updates you may require on a regular basis.

We can also provide Support and Maintenance even if we didn’t develop the original system, once we have completed a thorough assessment.

So what is Website Support & Maintenance and why is it so important?

Website support and maintenance refers to the ongoing tasks and activities required to keep a website functioning effectively, up-to-date, and secure. This involves regular monitoring, troubleshooting, updates, and improvements to ensure that the website continues to operate smoothly and remains relevant to its users.

Here are some key areas of website support and maintenance that we offer:

This includes monitoring the website’s performance, uptime, and security, and troubleshooting technical issues such as broken links, error messages, or server-related problems.

Regularly updating and adding fresh content to the website, such as blog posts, news articles, product descriptions, images, and videos, to keep the website current and engaging for visitors.

Updating the website’s content management system (CMS), plugins, themes, and other software components to ensure they are up-to-date and secure, and to take advantage of new features and improvements.

Making changes to the website’s design, layout, and user interface to enhance its visual appeal, usability, and user experience.

Regularly backing up the website’s files and databases to a secure location, and implementing disaster recovery plans to minimise data loss and downtime in case of any unforeseen events such as server crashes or security breaches.

Optimising the website’s performance, including page load times, caching, image optimisation, and other techniques to improve the website’s speed and responsiveness.

Implementing security measures such as firewalls, SSL certificates, and regular security patches to protect the website from cyber threats, malware, and hacking attempts.

Providing assistance to website users, including responding to inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving complaints related to the website’s functionality or content.

Implementing search engine optimisation (SEO) best practices, such as optimising meta tags, headings, URLs, and other on-page elements, to improve the website’s visibility and rankings on search engines.

Monitoring and analysing website traffic, user behaviour, and other performance metrics using analytics tools, and generating reports to gain insights and make data-driven decisions for website improvements.
